Constructed of gilded tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an enameled HJ insignia situated within a gilt border, the reverse with a vertical pinback, stamped with an award number of 8923, also marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 70 for Franz Otto, Wuppertal Elberfeld, measuring 16. 86 mm (w) x 28. 96 mm (h), weighing 3. 7 grams, demonstration loss of gilt finish, in
