Food Bank

Harvest of Hope Pantry

Harvest of Hope Pantry

In 2012, Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Thomas Aquinas merged their efforts to feed the hungry and formed Harvest of Hope Pantry, a Catholic non-profit organization guided by the pastors and members of both parishes.

Harvest of Hope offers a client-choice shopping experience where individuals select preferred food items. Once a week, clients with kitchens and refrigeration can shop weekday mornings and select from a variety of dairy foods, perishable prepared meal items and protein foods. Those without kitchens can shop every weekday afternoon for easy-to-eat foods such as protein bars, pop-top canned items, yogurt, produce and fresh sandwiches, which give them a daily amount of supplemental food to fill the gap that other organizations are unable to offer.

Emergency Services

Shelter Services

Boulder Shelter for the Homeless (bouldershelter.org) and the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA, efaa.org) provide case management, access to benefits, help with prescriptions and replacing identification, housing assistance and referrals, job search resources, and RTD bus passes to the homeless and working poor of Boulder.
