Children’s Faith Formation
Children's Liturgy of the Word |
At the Sunday 10 a.m. Mass throughout the year, children from preschool through second grade gather and are sent forth from the Mass to joyfully learn about the Sunday readings and participate in activities that teach about our faith. Afterward, the children return to Mass in time to rejoin their families before the Eucharistic prayer. No sign up is required and parents are welcome!

Using presentations and hands-on work, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd invites children to fall deeply in love with God. Level I is for ages 3-5 years.

Preparing For the Sacraments |
Sacred Heart of Jesus follows the Archdiocese of Denver restored order of the sacraments. This two-year program prepares second graders for First Reconciliation (confession) and third graders for Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

Safe Environment Training
To create a safe environment within the Church for our kids, the Catholic community has instituted a safe environment program. To volunteer in our church with any young people, you must complete a two-hour seminar workshop.
